Dixon Historic Center Grand Opening
After years of preparation, the Dixon Historic Center has unveiled two new permanent exhibits. Native American life and early American farming. The voices of life-like figures and narrative panels fill in details about the years the Native Americans struggled to keep their land. Early American settlers are shown in realistic structures and displays of artifacts round out the learning experience. This event is FREE.
The fun starts at 1pm and is located at the Dixon Historic Center, at 205 West 5th Street in Dixon. For more information, please call 815-288-5508.
