"George Washington Slept Here" at Rock Falls High School
Rock Falls High School will present “George Washington Slept Here” by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman on Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2. The story follows Newton Fuller who purchases a “little house in the country” without informing his family about this decision. Fuller bought the house because of its supposed “rich history” when in fact it is nothing more than a dilapidated homestead. The floors are caving in, the walls are falling down, there is no water, and they can’t even get to their house because they don’t own the rights to the road. Couple all of this with an angry wife, troublesome nephew, flighty daughter, crazy uncle, and you have one heck of a hilarious show. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $2 for kids 12 and under. Starts at 7 p.m.
Rock Fall High School is at 101 12 Ave. in Rock Falls.
