Indian Valley Theatre will present the dark comedy "Arsenic and Old Lace" on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 18, 19, and 20, at Sandwich Opera House. The play was written in 1939 by Joseph Kesselring. The elderly Brewster sisters are celebrated by their town, but they are poisoning gentleman boarders with arsenic-laced homemade wine. The sisters' nephew Mortimer discovers his aunts' activities, and things become more complicated. Tickets are $12 each, and can be bought at www.indianvalleytheatre.com or at the box office an hour before each performance. Performances are at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
