The Oregon Rotary Club's 17th annual Mark Twain Day is on Saturday, September 14, at Maxson Riverboat and Restaurant in Oregon. There will be a pig roast, homemade pie and ice cream, a 50/50 raffle, riverboat rides and music by the BackRoads Trio on the deck and Dirt Simple on the paddleboat. Mark Twain himself will make an appearance, and give away a few of his books. From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
