Sterling Main Street Music Fest returns to Central Park and the Grandon Civic Center on Saturday, July 27. The headliner is the Matthew Skoller Band. Skoller is one of Chicago's most respected harp blowers and blues bandleaders. Supporting bands include the local youth phenom band Route 88; Elephant Gun, a nine-piece rock band whose music has been described as “Americana-baked ballroom swagger” and “metal-influenced folk pop;” and the indie-folk sounds of Exit Ghost, one of Paste Magazine’s “10 Illinois Bands You Should Listen To Now.” New to the festival will be an arts and crafts show. Admission is $5 for those 13 and older; no pets, no outside food or drink. Gates open at 1 p.m.
