The 42nd Annual Sandwich Early Day Engine and Tractor Club Show featuring International Harvester machines, is coming to Sandwich Fairgrounds, 1401 Suydam Road on Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30. The club's annual consignment auction starts at 9 a.m. Saturday. The kiddie tractor pull is at 1:30 p.m, with tractor parades at 2 p.m. at the fairgrounds and 5 p.m. in Sandwich. Sunday starts with a church service at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Rock Country Pullers garden and tractor pull at 10 a.m. and another kiddie tractor pull at 1 p.m. A tractor ride will set off at 8:30 a.m., traveling north of Sandwich and returning to the fairgrounds.
Horse-drawn wagon rides, gas engines, tractors and machinery on display, a working sawmill, a toy show, an antique truck display, corn shellers, and food and flea market vendors will be available both days. There also will be an enclosure where kids can ride pedal tractors and play games, and a box full of surprises to be found in the corn.
Admission is $5 for those 13 and older. There is no cost to show tractors or machinery.
