Fulton's 1st Annual Bluegrass/Folk Music Festival
Fulton's First Annual Bluegrass/Folk Music Festival is on Saturday, June 15 at Heritage Canyon, Five bands are on the bill: The Matriarchs of Freeport; the Wise Apple Riders of the Quad Cities, the Ryan Getz Band and Dirt Simple, both of Galena, and the headliner, Frank F. Sidney's Western Bandit Volunteers, of Peoria. Crafters will display their goods, the ice cream parlor will be open, and D’s Smokin’ BBQ will be selling rib eye and pulled pork sandwiches and burgers. There will be parking attendants in the canyon and a free shuttle bus running from the First Christian Reformed Church parking lot to the canyon. Transportation for the elderly and the disabled will be provided inside the park. Admission is $5, or $10 per family, with a limit of two adults. From 1 to 6 p.m.
