The Morrison Schools Foundation invites the public to attend a short film festival on January 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
The event will be held at the Morrison High School Auditorium and will feature short films by local elementary, junior high, and high school students. Tickets are only $5 at the door and all proceeds will be used to benefit technology in the school district. A distinguished panel of judges will award a prize in each of the three categories – music, animation, and general interest. The judges include: local art teacher legend, Ned Nesti; actor, writer and producer Anne Girard; and animator, director and producer Matt Danner. In addition, the audience will have the opportunity to vote for its favorite for the “People’s Choice” award in each category.
The event starts at 2 p.m. at Morrison High School, at 643 Genesee Ave. in Morrison. For more information, please visit www.morrisonschools.org.
