Visit downtown Sterling this weekend for the Colors of Christmas Decorated Windows Scavenger Hunt. The Bridge of Art has decorated 17 store windows with the help of 1,800 area residents. Locate the 21 numbered windows, find the clues, turn in the answers and have the chance to win $150.
These windows feature thousands of snowflakes made by grade school children, and work by local artists. View a mannequin wearing a dress made from coffee filters and copy paper, falling snow made from marshmallows, a tree made from a tomato cage and neckties. Sponsored by Sterling Main Street, this is a truly creative, free public art display.
Pick up Scavenger Hunt forms at downtown businesses including AirPlay Sports, Mead's Bike Shop, SBM and Apron String, Showplace Antiques and more. The hunt is on until January 4.
