"Annie Warbucks" is brought to the stage at The Byron Civic Theater this weekend and next. The action picks up where "Annie"left off: Christmas morning, 1933. Amid celebration, Child Welfare Commissioner Harriet Doyle arrives to inform Daddy Warbucks that he must marry within the next 60 days or he will lose the newly adopted Annie. His whirlwind search for a bride uncovers not only a plot by Doyle and her daughter to strip him of his fortune, but also his true feelings for secretary Grace Farrell.
Performance dates are November 30 and December 1 and 2 with showtime’s on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.
